Maddox is worked seamlessly from the top down. Knitting starts with the neck ribbing. After the ribbing is complete, short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation. Sleeve stitches are then placed on hold to work the body top down to the pockets. Pocket linings are worked simultaneously with the lower body and are seamlessly joined to the body before the ribbing starts. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last.
